Individual files? Whole folders? Whatever you need to transfer, netfiles Send is your secure alternative to e-mail attachments and unsafe providers. Make sure you send your files to business partners and securely – without them needing a netfiles user account of their own.

nefiles Send also lets you receive files. To do so, simply send an upload link requesting the relevant files. The benefits? A less congested e-mail inbox, automated virus scanning, and having files always land straight in your personal data inbox.

With netfiles Send, you can send and receive large files of up to 150 GB securely and with ease. Size limits on e-mail attachments are a thing of the past.

You can create secure download links to send files and folders either straight from netfiles Send or via an application of your choice – as an e-mail or via a messenger service, for example.

A modern, user-friendly interface makes it child’s play to share files. You simply do what you would normally do in your e-mail program: select the files or folders, type in the recipient’s e-mail address and add a brief message if you want to. That’s it. For netfiles, you don’t have to install any software: A web browser is all you need to send and receive data.

Confirmation of receipt gives you certainty that the files you have sent have reached the intended recipient.

The integrated address book helps you fill out the contact data, just as you would in your familiar e-mail program. Contacts can be created and edited in the address book or simply imported with an Excel spreadsheet or an Outlook file. For recurrent messages to multiple recipients, you can create and manage contact groups.

In netfiles Send, the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used to store all files with strong 256-bit encryption and protect them from unauthorized access.

In netfiles Send, data is SSL-encrypted from end to end during transmission and receipt, making this medium more secure than most e-mail programs.

Files and folders sent or received via netfiles Send are automatically scanned for malware. You and your recipients can therefore rest assured that the data made available is always secure.

You can also choose a freely definable password to give further protection to the files and folders you share. Alternatively, you can use a randomly generated security code that is also forwarded automatically to the recipient. The security code is created only when the download link is clicked, irrespective of when the recipient actually received the link. The advantage of this method is that if you send files to multiple recipients, each one receives an individual security code.

You can set an expiry data to specify how long a file should remain available to the recipient. As soon as the download link expires, the recipient can no longer access the shared file or folder. However, the data remains available in your personal file storage and can, if necessary, be shared again.

Administrators can create deny lists (blacklists) to prevent certain e-mail domains from participating in data transfer. This reduces the risk of inadvertently making files available to unauthorized persons, giving you extra control over the data you share.

Integrating your company’s logo lets you align the look and feel of the netfiles Send web interface and your download dialogue sequences (to retrieve transferred data) with your corporate design.
