netfiles data room now with new redaction function
netfiles GmbH expands the range of functions of its data room solution
With the latest version of the netfiles data room solution, users now have a redaction function for PDF documents directly in the data room.
The new function can be used, for example, to redact sensitive, personal data in documents in order to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. netfiles administrators and users with editor rights in the data room can redact specific information in documents, such as e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, credit card numbers, etc. Alternatively, they can search for selfselected terms and then make them unrecognizable. Besides that, entire areas, such as photos or graphics, can also be redacted in documents.
The new redaction function is offered in the netfiles products Professional, Deal Room and Board Room.
